Fishing Boats on the Beach at Saintes-Maries

34″ X 46″ Gallery Wrap Oil Painting On Canvas Hand painted oil reproduction of one of the most famous Van Gogh paintings, Fishing Boats on the Beach at Saintes-Maries. The original masterpiece was created in 1888 with its colorful beached fishing boats in the foreground and water surfing sailboats in the back. Today it has been carefully recreated detail-by-detail, color-by-color to near perfection. Why settle for a print when you can add sophistication to your rooms with a beautiful fine gallery reproduction oil painting? Vincent Van Gogh’s restless spirit and depressive mental state fired his artistic work with great joy and, sadly, equally great despair. Known as a prolific Post-Impressionist, he produced many paintings that were heavily biographical. This work of art has the same emotions and beauty as the original by Van Gogh. Why not grace your home with this reproduced masterpiece? It is sure to bring many admirers! 100% handmade oil painting on artist grade canvas

So I’m seriously considering joining the Marines. It has been something I’ve had in mind for a long time, but have always been wrapped up in a different lifestyle. I am now 28 years old and have spent a majority of my life up to now partying and living carelessly. Recently I’ve been thinking of where my life is headed and it doesn’t look good based on the past. While I do live independently, have a decent job, a car, and am relatively comfortable I still feel unfulfilled and don’t feel like an "adult" or a "man" per say. I think the Marines would be the perfect thing for me at this point. I haven’t really spoke to anyone about it yet but am going to see a recruiter soon to get some details. Am I too old at this point? I’m not the strongest man, but I’m not in the best of shape, what can I do to prepare myself for this? Also, I’m a smoker which I think would be a factor in training, I’ve been meaning to quit but never got around to it. This can be the "kick in the a**" I need. Any opinions/feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You’re not too old. You don’t have to be He-Man. The Corps will get you in shape. I joined at 23, and am now 29 and I’m still surviving. I was a smoker prior to boot camp, and it sucks for a little while, but after a month you’ll be fine. I started again after boot camp, I advise against this. Age really isn’t a factor, just don’t get wrapped around the axles when you’re drill instructors are younger than you, and when/if you graduate boot camp your Lt’s are younger as well as some SNCO’s. I commend your decision, and let me know if you need any more info.
